STRICH is JavaScript library that leverages modern browser technologies such as WebAssembly and WebGL to achieve high-performance barcode scanning in the web browser. STRICH was built to fill the gap between expensive commercial offerings from large players and unmaintained, limited Open Source solutions.

Partly for fun, partly to dog-feed STRICH, we're currently also building a barcode generator without all the usual annoying stuff: no ads, no signup, generation runs on your device and not someone's slow server, leaking your data.

SERVICES

In the past, we provided Software Engineering services for a wide range of customers and applications:

• Barcode scanning web apps for a variety of customers, e.g. Swiss Railways, implemented as PWAs using Angular/TypeScript.
• Computer vision software development using libraries like OpenCV and Python for construction and high-profile contemporary art.
• Security-critical components in highly regulated environments: we developed the "HIN Client" access software for Health Info Net AG, a widely used authenticator component in the Swiss healthcare landscape.
